Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what information ISOutsource collects, why we collect it, how we protect it and what choices you have. It applies to this website and to the services we provide to our clients.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, business email address, telephone number, company name and the content of any message you send through our contact or subscribe forms. We collect this so that we can respond to your enquiry and, where you have asked for it, send you our articles.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit this site, including your approximate location, browser type, the pages you view and the site that referred you. This is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to keep the site working properly.

In the course of delivering managed IT, cybersecurity and consulting services, we process information belonging to our clients and held within their systems. That information is handled under the terms of the agreement in place with each client, including any business associate agreement where protected health information is involved.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide the services you have asked for
  • deliver, support, monitor and secure client environments
  • send articles and updates where you have opted in
  • meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations
  • improve our services and this website

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How we protect information

Security is the service we provide, and we hold ourselves to the standards we set for our clients. We apply access controls on a least-privilege basis, encrypt data in transit and at rest where appropriate, maintain monitoring and patching across our own environment, and review our controls on an ongoing basis rather than only at audit time.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If an incident occurs that affects your information, we will notify you in line with our contractual and legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

We share information with service providers who help us operate our business, such as hosting, communications and support platforms. These providers are bound by contract to protect the information and may only use it to provide services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and for as long as required to meet legal, tax and contractual obligations. Client data is retained and disposed of according to the terms agreed with that client.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to certain processing, or request a copy in portable form. These rights include those available under the GDPR and the CCPA.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before acting on the request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning and to understand how it is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Turning them off may affect how parts of the site behave.

Children

Our services are provided to businesses. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
